Said he was from Global Support Solutions and that my Microsoft Windows computer with a bad IP address had downloaded malware and I needed to turn on my computer so he could help me. Kept him on the line for a bit to waste his time instead of getting someone else out there - yes a scammer!

I just received the same call on my cell phone. The guy sounded like he was calling from Bangladesh and told me that my computer was send/receiving malicious software and wanted me to turn on my computer. This is definitely a scam. The funny thing is that I am not even home or on my computer.
Caller: Said it was Microsoft
The person said he was called from Microsoft and the my computer was crashing he did not give a name.
