This number came through as ATT/DirecTv for me that my existing account, which I don't have with them.
"Joe" left a voice mail telling me that there was a problem with my credit card and to call that number (I had just received it, not used it, but had activated it). Someone, a woman, called back from 800-935-9935 saying that they were looking into possible fraud and someone would call me back within 24-48 hours. I said that wasn't acceptable and I will cancel my application and use the credit cards I already have. Then I called the number on the back of the card and requested a new card which will be sent overnight. Thanks REAL Chase Fraud Dept.
I received this call from 1-800-454-9078 and was leery about it so i came to this site and others. I followed the advice of a writer who had called the number on back of card, and after checking my account charges on line and saw one new gas charge that could have been made by my husband. I checked with him and he had entered the wrong zip code at the pump and started over again. I then called and had to also put in the entire card #, first 3 letters of mother maiden name, and 3 # code on back of card. I was then told it was not fraud and I could continue using card. I gave this information because I had called the number on card so I was sure it was real. So this number appears to be legit even though it was automated.

This was the CORRECT Chase Fraud phone #. I received a text indicating a fraudulent charge with this number, I confirmed charge on my app. I called the number on the back of my CC to confirm the first # was not a phishing scam. All was legit
