Kerry Smith called and asked for me but with my divorced name, I'm remarried now. The number they called from was 877-207-1406. When I called it back to see what this was about they asked what my address was and I would not give it to them. I asked what they had on file but she said she could not give me that info. I looked up EOCCA online and saw what everyone was posting and told her. She said they would just keep calling me back. I know this is a scam because I do not owe anyone!

i have had the same experience with eos cca i am taking steps on fighting back with this scam company they call my relatives enough is enough

Kerry Smith called my home number asking about my deceased grandfather. He left two messages and a number to call 1-877-611-1815. When I called the number the pre-recorded message indicated that it was EOCCA. When I spoke to a representative, she would not tell me what they wanted but offered to remove my number. When I refused to provide my number until she explained the nature of her call, things got ugly. I did not co-sign anything for my grandfather and he probably didn't even know my phone number so how in the #@!! did they get my number. She did verify that the Kerry Smith caller was an automate call. I am on the national do not call list, but I am constantly receiving calls.

I needed to pay my account from at&t which was on collection...i had to call at&t to know on what collection agency was my account to pay it off. So they gave this number of EOCCA. So i made a partial payment and the other full payment a month later as a settlement.So now its been two and i had not received any receipt or nothing. I called several times to verify they have my new and correct address and they told ill be receiving it on mail within a month..I called a month later and they said about a week its been two weeks and i had not received anything...Im really dissapointed because i need proof that i had payed this payment in order to get my credit check to qualify for something.

This company called me looking for my ex-husband, who has never lived here since I got my current phone number. Apparently, he must owe them some money or something & they wanted to know if I could tell them where he was. Well, he's in jail & so I told them that--they had the nerve to ask me if I knew when he'd be getting out! I told them no & that I had a protection order against him--the woman immediately told me they'd remove my number from their database & hung up.

They call all the time starting 2010, sometimes 2x a day. They say my daughter did not pay her phone account that I put on my account # back in 2006. They are wanting 662.00. I do not work and my daughter is a new single mother with alot of health problems. We don't have the money. I told them if Att&t wanted money from me I still have their service they can call. They keep calling it is annoying. How can I stop this? I ask them to mail me a copy of the bill and they could not provide this info. I thought they may be scammers, so glad I looked this up now to stop the calls. The # they call from: 877-294-5776, They want my cc# or Bank card # I do not give this info out

I'm making payments on a student loan and the only thing I want is some kind of paper work showing I'm making my payments for legal reasons, and even though they TOLD me that they would send this "paper work" to me, they have yet to send me anything. this has been going on for over a month. what can I do?

I received a call from this company regarding another person I do not know, and they refused to tell me how they obtained my # (which I have had for over 25 years!) and associated it with this man. The original recorded call said that if I was not the person, I should call 877 263-1126 to remove my number. When I did that, & started asking the person questions, I was hung up on, without them even taking my # so they could "remove it." The second person actually did take my number, but then proceeded to dodge all questions, including how they associated my # with this person, and who the owner or ceo of the company was. While they claim that they have now removed my phone #, I have received calls like this before, likely as not from them. I am also on a do not call list. I have told them that if I hear from them again I would report them for harrassment.

These people have been calling me for years...despite the fact that I indicate through their interactive phone system that the person they're looking for is not at my phone number. And I have had my current phone number for 20+ years!

called me about a bill I paid off two years ago. I had waited for the copany to provide me a prorated bill, once they did, i paid. how inthe world these guys have it beyond me.

i started calling them back, saying whatever came to mind (how's the weather over there? that's a nice shirt you're wearing! deck thehalls with boughs of holly.....) thay hate it.

time to keep creeps like this honest.

if you've got a bill, pay it, but if you don't, don't take abuse from companies like this. fight back.

Seriously?? EOS-CCA is a debt collection company. They use third party sources to get as much information as possible, from creditors, lenders, and credit reports. They then call and call until they reach someone. If you don't know them, say that, and thats it. If you ask a bunch of questions, they assume your fishing, and either are the debtor, or are giving the info to the debtor. There are strict protocols to adhere to when collecting debt, which is why they need to verify information before continuing the call. EOS-CCA Primarily collects debt on contract, with they're 30% fee on top. They do do a small amount of purchase debt collections, but mostly not. If cca is calling you, you either owe the federal government for student loans, or private loans, or you owe any of the major national cell phone companies. CCA does collect debt for other business, but mostly deal in cell phones, and student loans.

TheEOCCA is one of those off shoot debt collectors that either bought out a years old credit card debt or acting for one of those. In my case I lost my job and all credit cards in 2008 The CC companies wrote them off but these rinky dink companies go and buy the debt for pennies on the dollar and then attempt to work out a deal to get you to pay 40% or thereof.
