wow..im very alarmed right now because they call me at my job today and i never receive phone calls at work.the person that called asked for me when i anwered the phone she said it was a collection matter, i told her i couldnt provide any information at the moment she left me her number and ext. before she hanged up she said i just need to know if ur the person in regards to this matter is ur last four digits of ur ss# ****, i said yes and she said ok and hanged up.wow...silly of me huh....now what do i do?plz can anyone help me...?

you want calls to stop send your name and number and there number to
telephone preference services c/o direct marketing association
farmingdale ny 91765 i was a tsr and this is the address for the national do not call list if you ask to be put on the dnc and they do not give a tcpa curtesy close which sould be something like
I apologixe for the inconvenience we will remove your name from our currnet calling list please keep in mind that it may take six to eight weeks for the calls to stop
if the caller doesn't say something like that then it is a scam that phrase is mandated by the tcpa and must be given on all legitamate calls i hope this helps

I HAVE BEEN CALLED BY THESE PEOPLE 2-5 TIMES A DAY. HOW DO I GET MY NUMBER OFF THE LIST??? I HAVE RESPONDED TO THE CALL AND SPOKEN WITH SOMEONE AND ASKED TO BE REMOVED.THEY DO NOT RESPOND...THEY SAY OK AND HANG UP.

This number is a bogus collection agency that harasses people over non-existent debts, and pretends to be from Providian, Citibank, the “county” summons dept, the sheriff’s department, etc, etc. 3 members of my family plus an employee of my father-in-law have received multiple calls saying we must call them back w/in 24 hours or they’ll sue, issue a summons or go to the D.A. & file charges against you. In my case they fraudulently represented that they were the County of San Diego's summons dept (I called the number back, and then did more research on the number on-line). Below are other people’s experiences w/this bogus company:

They leave alarming & worrying phone calls with individuals & anyone they know. When I called them back they refused to give a business address, state, fax or any other identifying info when I called them back. And when I did ask they became very rude and then hung up.

If you get a call from them TELL THEM YOU ARE RECORDING THEM AND REPORTING THEM TO THE FCC AND ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE. Then follow up with the FCC and attorney general's office because they are victimized thousands of people in multiple countries. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY IDENTIFYING INFO TO THIS COMPANY, ESPECIALLY SS#'s.
