SCAM phone call from 800-485-2539. Caller says they're from the business office of a hospital. Do NOT give out information.

SCAM! Claims to be "whatever" hospital you went to. They call and have you confirm (give them) your information. Name, DOB, Address. Hospitals wouldn't send out a collection phone call if they never even sent you a bill in the first place. Do not give them any information over the phone and tell them to send you a bill and you will call the hospital yourself. Don't fall to the trap. When you call back, it asks for your phone number, that way they know what hospital to say. I called from a false number and answered the phone "Hospital Business Office" -- SCAM.
