I have reported this number to the FTC and still they continue to call. This is a skip tracer looking for an individual named Rodney Allen. They call, on average, 3 times a day. I let it go to message, where the message clearly states I do not answer unidentified callers. I can do nothing but delete. This started as soon as Verizon assigned this number to me last year. At first, I told the callers I had no idea who they were looking for, I owed no money to anyone and that this was a newly assigned number. All promised to remove my number from the list...obviously they were all lying. I do not wish to change my phone # because, odds are, I will probably have the same trouble and it's not fair to my contacts to have a constantly changing number. These skip tracers need to have stricter limits placed on their calling practices. Decent citizens should not have to put up with this abusive, annoying practice.
They leave a prerecorded message on my cell phone voicemail which is illegal.
