I called this number back and there was no voice and a loud tv playing in the background... I am going to say that this is a BS call
It is indeed CVS Specialty Pharmacy. The automated call is usually done if there is a problem with your insurance, or if you have a prescription that is about to ship out. No billing information was requested of me, just basic identifiers (Name, birthday, ZIP Code) to pull up my account, verify my identity, and the status of my prescription.
This is not a Scam call. I believe this number is falsely flagged as one.
While this "caller" IS an automated system, it's NOT a robo-caller.
It IS a CVS Pharmacy # - and relates to Prior Authorizations for prescriptions which require a 2nd-verification from my (your) Dr's office when your insurance company, initially, denies its coverage.
People who do not take the time to follow-up with these calls have erroneously filed FTC complaints or did not bother to UPDATE their prior entry claiming this is a scammer or robo caller.
CVS Specialty Pharmacy this call was fine as we work with this company.
