The lady called looking for scott (my husband) by her accent I knew this was a scam so I just told her this isn't scott - she kept asking who I was but I wanted to tell her so she ended up saying "fuck you" and hung up on me..

I just got off the phone with a woman who had a middle Eastern accent she got my name and where I was staying for college she told me I qualified for a 9,000 dollar grant that was tax free and I didn't have to pay back she then gave me a code and a number to call to get the money

They stated that I was entitled to $9,000 of free grant money. They said I had only three ways in which I could receive the money through wire transfer from places like Walmart. Debit or credit. Or prepaid card. They said they wanted to verify my name and info. The name they got right but not where I live. So they asked for my zip code to which I replied that they had the wrong person. So they hung up. it was a woman with a thick eastern accent.

I had just received the call as well and it was a lady and I told we I don't have a bank account and if I can go somewhere to pick it up and she said Walmart as soon as she finished giving me the code to get it from Walmart the phone cut out I tried calling back and it wouldn't let me these people need serious consequences

This number called me as well. He had a heavy Indian accent and told me I had to call today to get a whooping sum of 9,000 dollars, and basically said I could use it for educational things or repairs or whatever. Don't fall for this scam.

Caller with heavy India accent, said that my daughter had qualified for a $9.000 grant. How can she qualify for something that she did not apply for. When I asked him, "Who's calling, he said, "You ask too many questions and hung up!!! It's a scam!!! This is the same man that keeps calling from different numbers & locations. I have heard his voice in many different situations, all trying to get personal information to your bank account and credit card. NO waaayyyyy, Scammer!!! Get you a real "JOB"!!!

I just received a call from the same number and it sounds like it's the same person. I couldn't hear his name properly, but he told me my name and number were eligible for a $9,000 grant. When I told him I looked up the number and I'm not interested he mentioned it wasn't a scam. Not that I have anything against companies outsources work to India, but I don't believe someone calling about a Federal grant from the US government would have such a strong accent. This is also the 2nd time I've received a call from these people, both times from different numbers.

Caller (with heavy Indian accent) said he is from the Federal (something) and Grants. Very aggressive and vulgar. denied the call was a scam or telemarketing and after I hung-up on him 3 times he called back saying "hey motherf****r", asked for his supervisor and he said he is the supervisor.
