This is the collections department with PNC mortgage , per your mortgage note payments are contractually due on the first day of the month, so by following investor guidelines(Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc) that if a payment isn’t recieved on or before the first you may be subject to a collections call from your mortgage servicer, anytime PNC mortgage is calling out they do have your information but due to federal privacy laws all representatives must have borrowers verify they do have the correct party on the line before discussing any personal information in regards to your loan , they do this by asking to verify zip or your property address, etc. all you have to do is advise them the day and method and amount of your payment, they will notate your account and continue, they aren’t being predatory , they themselves have to follow federal guidelines and debt collection laws because your loan is considered a debt
. First of all due to any compliance in banking no mortgage company or Bank would ever call you on the phone and request personal information from you at anytime or tell you you want to hear things they have to say or laugh on professionally in addition to that it's against banking compliance to even do that per the FCC guidelines and the federal government in addition to that if you were ever late on your mortgage it would take probably 3 to 6 months to even get something in the regular mail in your regular mail box at that point the foreclosure process does not even start until about 4 months or 120 days delinquent or 6 months or longer in addition to that mortgage prod is on the rise the Federal Bureau of Investigation handles mortgage fraud if you receive something on your front door and they say they're from a bank most likely the document has been manufactured or photoshopped it is not from the bank do not even call it do not respond to it if you see who it is that's putting it on the door take a video of it turned it into the police get your mortgage coupon call the servicing Department on your mortgage coupon directly they will handle it from there or you can call the FCC
Caller called, when I answered there was a delay, then she said thank you for calling, then she corrected herself laughing very unprofessionally. I asked her who she was calling with and she said she couldn't tell me until I gave her the address at my property. which i could have more than 1 so that was weird. Finally she stated she was with PNC and I would want to here what she had to say, I was like okay, then she said they were trying to collect on my mortgage, at that point I told her I was hanging up with no further info and she stated she would continue to call. I am not late nor have I been in the many years I have had that account.
Call several times per day and hang up when you answer.
They are promoting low rate mortgage through their company.
