Continuous calls from DirectTV which was purchased by AT&T 7/24/2015. Although AT&T is aware of the "bot" calls the company obviously refuses to address the annoying calls experienced by AT&T consumers and those of us who don't have the service. AT&T has curiously developed an "app" for any Smartphone that supposedly detects the calls, and of course blocks. But I suspect this is AT&T's round about way of soliciting sales. Bottom line: it's AT&T...
An anonymous caller from the above number left the most obscene vile message....no attempt to identify any company, just a completely and utterly depraved individual. I am on the Do Not Call Registry, but apparently that means nothing. And this call came in on 4/19 around 2pm to my family's home messaging machine...any one of my children could have retrieved it. This individual is sick and any operation condoning this illegal activity should be investigated immediately.
This is a scam. They offer a discount for a three month package. They want you to pay with Amazon gift card or something similar. Sometimes they have information that your Internet or TV provider would have, such as account numbers, payment history, address, etc. They have this information because your provider got hacked and your information was sold to some scandalous company. Nothing you can do because the people who can do something about it either dont care or got paid, or both.
Yes spam caller. Do not call again, Did not answer.
Woke us early this morning, voice was so soft and not understandable; sounded like a real person but we hung up.
