Caller with strong east Asian accent claimed to be from Microsoft customer support. Said something was wrong with my computer. When I asked who they wanted to speak to, the person gave a name that was not mine. When I said you have the wrong number, the person hung up.

Told me computer had issues with Microsoft

Called and told me there was an issue with my "Windows computer". I told her I would check ". Kept her on the phone for 20 minutes. Thick Indian accent. Said he was calling from 'IPC'. She finally gave up when I told her I work for Microsoft and was back tracing her phone

Called yesterday. Indian or Pakastani. Told me I had errors on my windows computer. I asked him to id himself, and send me email. I broke the call. Scam

Yep tried their crap on me. BLOCKED caller

Called and said my computer quit updated.l told the pakistani I did not give crap and hung up

Said my computer would not respond to online updates.

Pick up & hang up all unknown numbers immediately. Don't let them even hear your voicemail message. If you must speak to them, tell them to go fvck their mother & then hang up. They're criminals trying to scam you. Please inform all elderly family members, friends, neighbors, etc. Never provide personal info at cash registers. Unfortunately, banks, credit card companies, etc. share our info with outside marketing companies. The Do Not Call List won't help you avoid scammers. :(”
