This number IS absolutely STILL one of Ring Central's call out numbers. I have a current account with them and when i switched debit cards i forgot to update my card on file and they called me when it declined and it was from the same number. So it definitely is them. However, it is possible someone could "Spoof" call from the same number and pretend to be Ring Central. Meaning they change their caller ID to make you think its them. But the person saying that the number is a scam and its someone just trying to get your credit card info is a moron.

This number was PREVIOUSLY used for RingCentral. It no longer seems to be affiliated with them. If you want to contact the real RingCentral, visit their website at ringcentral.com. Whoever is using this # now is a scammer. They claim to be with RC and want your credit card number... to 'lower your bill'. If you say thanks for calling, and suggest you call them back, they don't like that. Complete scammer. Just block their number and move on with your life.

I used them once to try to send a fax on their "free" trial. Now they are calling constantly trying to get my credit card number.

Someone called last night saying my account was closed due to credit card being out of date or incorrect info and they asked for my credit card info (which I did not give). Since I AM a real customer of Ringcentral, today I contacted the company to inquire about my account and to report the phone call. My account is paid up through July, the payment info is correct still, they do not contact people on the phone - only via email, they do not ask for credit card information. Ever. This phone number is not connected with RingCentral in any capacity. These are the phone numbers used by RingCentral:
