This number has been calling my cell for months. they leave no message identifying them in any way, i just tried to call twice and the persons who answered both times said they could not identify what or who they are until I identify myself and give my social security number, and name and address?! I refused to give out that information until they told me whether they were a doctor office, or whatever and they would not say a word about who they were, or why they kept calling. i said it was harrassing and they said I can call it whatever i want but they will continue to call. I am VERY upset and i told them there was no way i would give ut my personal info to someone not willing to identify themselves for fear of identity theft, etc. They said I was being uncooperative and hung up on me twice. PLEASE let me know what I can do about this!

Debt buyers typically file suits that may be out of statutes, have improper pleadings, contain manufactured affidavits, and have no trail of ownership.
Any of these facts may be useful in a defense, which is why is it wise for anyone dealing with a bottom feeder litigator to respond aggressively, on time and armed with information.
Lawyers who deal with assembly line type bottom feeder attorneys tell me that in general they are lazy, make a lot of mistakes, take procedures for granted and are not always prepared for someone who did their homework. Make them work, or make them lose their case--they can be beaten.
