They call on two different number above and 801-845-9067. The caller ID has Blocked for name or American Express. I have nothing to do with American Express. They leave no message. I have blocked them but they still try. There name comes on on the caller ID. No messages. They are a problem.

Yes, and I refuse to call them back. If it's truly Amex then they can contact me by the other means I have attached to my account, which is not my work phone number.

Received 5 calls from this number in last week alone. Automated message from American Express. Of course this is a scammer. And I am writing this, just got another call from that number. It never ends.

I received a call this past Sunday around 9AM (623-492-1258). The recording stated: "This is American Express, we have important information to discuss with you concerning your account." Problem is; I have no account with AMEX. I called the 'callback' number (800-592-1160), and spoke with a lady; southeast asian accent. When I explained that I didn't have an account, she asked for my SSN. I told her I wasn't comfortable giving out my SSN. She stated; that's the only way we can pull up your account, again, I told her I have no account, and that I'm sure you could ask for other identifying information. I ended the call. Today, I received a call from the 800 number; the caller asked for someone other than me, I told him he had the wrong number; ended the call.

Its a scam. Told the guy to go away when he called and then I got an automated call from 'American Express" and to enter the last four of my SS number. Hung up. If you get the same and give up your information then you're the golden goose they're after.

This is a bs scam. They want your info. Look up phone spoofing. Sometimes it's "Amex" "Discover" " IP Voice" " Bank of America"-none of these are true as I don't have any accounts with any of these places. I contacted the REAL companies which confirmed the calls are spoofed and to report this as scam! Heard baby crying and 2 women talking in background bout how to get a ss# and cc# and how they're surprised how many ppl fall for it. I called back and told them what I heard and they laughed and told me good luck taking them down! Pure greed n evil

These butt wipes just don't get it.... I've even told them that I'm reporting their numbers and they just keeping calling me. WFH? Apparently there's absolutely no intelligence with those that are actually dialing my number. This is a land line so I can't download an app to block them.

Caller claims to be from American Express. Called American Express using the 800 number on back of my card and was told that it was a fraudulent call.

Received several calls from 800-592-1160. A message was actually left saying this wasn't a telemarketing call but AmEx had an important issue to discuss with me. When I called the number, I was put into an automated system asking me for my credit card number and SSN. I then pressed "0" and got a real person who asked me for my credit card number. I said you guys called me and what did you want? She said she needed my credit card number so she could pull up my account to see. I told her wasn't going to give her my credit number since this could be a scam. She was polite and said whatever you wish. This is a real slick scam. Ignore any "phishing" phone messagez
