(800) 601-1921

Caller wanted me to download a program to my computer so that they could check for viruses. Said they were from Windows and wanted to talk with my computer. She said she was getting messages that there was unwanted malicious software on my computer.

Male with foreign accent.Sounded like call center. Mr. Jones. Said he was calling from Windows because they keep getting messages that my computer is going to crash and he wanted to help prevent that. Called several times before I answered. Was about to ask me to provide info/access to computer or something. Said his phone number is 800-601-1921. Told him I think he is a scam and not to call again. Why would "Windows" be calling me??? Very strange! Needs to be investigated.
