Received a call which said that I owed money to an electric company in another state. They also said that they bought the debt from the company and were in the process of filing a judgement. Of course it is complete bogus as not only have I not lived at that location for over 30 years, but I verified (after some lengthly investigation by the electric company) that there was never any such outstanding debt. Of course, if there was any such outstanding bill, the electricity would have been turned off at the time!
