Home security system. When I agreed on Tuesday to get it I was told the following. It's a Honeywell system. Cost for equipment is $1500 & installation $299. It would be installed at not cost. $41.99 monthly charge for a 3 year contract. Monthly fee would never go up. The woman I spoke to on Tuesday was Jody. The man I spoke to yesterday was George. When I asked the company name on Tuesday I was told Safety Promotions. Yesterday I was told Security Promotions. When the tech & deputies came out Wednesday I obtained the work order papers for my rejected installation. On that paperwork the company is listed as ISI Alarms.

This is the 10th call I've gotten from them in the last week. The incoming call number, as displayed by Caller ID, does not disclose who they are. In fact, each of the 10 calls has come from a different number in a different area of the country. This particular call came through as 818-870-8100, which says Los Angeles Area on the caller ID. The autodialer messages is always the same: You have been selected for a free home security system, etc....press 1 to talk to our representative.

In this instance, as with previous instances, I pressed 1 to talk to a real person. Then a play along to collect their info. In this case, I spoke with Donna the "manager". Donna offered me a Honeywell security system, installed for free, and Monitronics monitoring service for $49.99 per month.

ISI and Mr. Waller need to be fined and punished as per federal and law for making autodialer sales call to cell phones.
