Exact same reports of these calls at 800notes.com and WhoCallsMe.com. Continuous robocalls asking for callbacks or even no messages left at all. Weekday, Sunday and evening calls. Repeated "double-teaming" -type calls from other unidentified 800 numbers possibly allied with this particular caller.
I am informed by a legal professional that duly diligent steps worthwhile carrying out before escalating these calls to the FTC or to your locally elected representative are 1) to NEVER answer these calls or call the caller(s) back as they might request, 2) to record caller ID information, 3) to record or write down the actual message(s) left and variants of the message(s), and 4) to log over a more extensive timespan the actual timestamp (dates, times) of these calls.
This company is calling my home for a relatives loan issue. I have threatened legal action and they continue to cal. WHne you call back, you can not talk to anyone unless you have a loan number.

SAME EXPERIENCE as DENISE. I managed to go through and formally asked them to remove my number, but she said she could not do this unless she had an account number, which I don't. I recorded that phone call.
this ID's as 'loan counseling" and is calling almost every hour;. we work at home and find this an unacceptable use of phone service. it appears the number belongs to Bank of America.
PLEASE INTERVENE AND STOP THIS COMPANY FROM MISUSING PHONE LINES!....PERHAPS FINING THEM WOULD BE APPROPRIATE!
thank you
To all of you receiving the calls from "please hold..." please hold.. . Bank of America", I believe it is associated with the real B of A. The land line phone number I currently have at one time belonged to a family who for what ever reason failed to pay their bills. For some reason, the B of A idiots can't seem to comprehend that phone numbers were reassighned to other people in the past (before the law changed to be able to keep your number, even if you changed your service provider). So, I have not any clue how to stop these idiots from calling me. It appears complaints to any and all the fed agencies who are supposed to be overseeing these issues do nothing, so I'm all ears of what I should do now....HELP!!! Am I to close or change my phone number that family and friends have known for years???
