It's BofA's collection department. It took me forever to find someone and let them know I have NEVER and WILL never do business with BofA. Got hold of a VERY nice lady who gave me www.bankofamerica.com/privacy and I got to deny them access.
"for security purposes, can you verify your address"
HAHA, what a joke. NO. My bank knows how to get a hold of me. Don't give the info people!!!
I get calls from boa at this number every month when they assure me my payments on my loan mod has been made on time for over a year, and because I pay a day or 2 after the 1st of the month I continue to get the harrassing calls..sometimes a half dozen of them on one day when I am at work
none
They've called me 3 times today asking me to verify information. When I told them I would call them back, they gave me their phone number, which, of course, was the same one they called from. I did not return their calls and they called back. The first caller said he was calling from The First Bank of America and, when I said I didn't have an account with them, he changed it to Bank of America. They wouldn't tell me why they were calling until I verified their information.

They call 1-2 times daily. Can't personally say it's B of A, I have no acct w/them. Even if it's somebody's legit acct activity, it's devious to call, leave no msg & play games w/their identity. If it's an identifiable acct, retire it & never do biz w/them again.
