It's BofA's collection department. It took me forever to find someone and let them know I have NEVER and WILL never do business with BofA. Got hold of a VERY nice lady who gave me www.bankofamerica.com/privacy and I got to deny them access.

They've called me 3 times today asking me to verify information. When I told them I would call them back, they gave me their phone number, which, of course, was the same one they called from. I did not return their calls and they called back. The first caller said he was calling from The First Bank of America and, when I said I didn't have an account with them, he changed it to Bank of America. They wouldn't tell me why they were calling until I verified their information.

They call 1-2 times daily. Can't personally say it's B of A, I have no acct w/them. Even if it's somebody's legit acct activity, it's devious to call, leave no msg & play games w/their identity. If it's an identifiable acct, retire it & never do biz w/them again.

Every day between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. there is call from this number to our reception area/main business number. When answered it goes straight to a busy signal. Not only is it irritating to receive each day, but then to not be able to reach the business and ask them to stop is even more so. I'm glad I don't bank with them. I would hate to think a company I'm invested in would waste their resources in such a manner.

We told them that we will keep them on line long enough to have the call traced. Then they hung up. They keep trying to say this is a Business Call.

We are tired of these people who ever they are calling our phone, they called in Spanish asking her she is 81 years old to provide her banking information, claiming that they're from Bank Of America central office, when I tried to get their names(is been different people calling)they refused to provide their names and said,WE CALL BACK LATER,and they have, day and night,it just never stops....We are fed up with this harassment, is there anyone out there that can put a stop to this,

We have been harassed for 3 months with sometimes 7 times a day 7 days a week. We have sent by fax showing that our accounts are all paid on time. We have them automatically debited from our account as we have for years. Reader's Digest August issue has an article about the scam that is being perpretated by many others who are current with their payments. We even had a woman sent to our house on Sat. July 23, 2011. I showed her all the evidence of our payments and gave her a copy of the article. My husband is President and CEO of RGSTEEL. He is going to give this problem General Counsel. What kind of a reputable bank would allow this to happen? Our account numbers are 8457329 and 8452282-0. Rectify this problem immediately.

When I first started receiving calls from this number I thought it was a scam. They didn't leave any messages but kept calling. When I finally picked up, they first thing I heard was "This is Bank of America, please verify your address." I said I wasn't going to give out personal information and I asked her why BOA was calling me. She said that she couldn't answer that question! (Really!! Then why are you calling?!?!) She gave me a number to call back. So I hung up and called the number. It was a recording asking for my social security number. I immediately hung up confident that it was a scam. Well, lo and behold, they continued to call the next day and I became suspicious, so I checked my bank account. Through some bank processing error, my mortgage check that month had bounced. The calls had been legit. But really...all they had to do was leave a message or just tell me that a payment wasn't made or tell me that they were debt collection! Instead, they made me believe that I was being scammed because they were asking me for a bunch of personal information without saying why they were calling!

They keep calling and asking for our complete SS# and payment amount of our loan. The calls just keep coming. Now they are calling my wife's work asking her the same questions. Who are these jerks?

They called me on my celphone at 1922, Az time and want me to verify my name and address. I asked where this call is from, the guy said from Bank of America. I asked him what is the reason of the call. He said I cannot tell you unless you give your information. I said "well how can I be sure if this is truly a Bank of America call?" He answered, "Then thank you and goodbye." And I insisted, "you cannot just hang up the phone and say thank you without telling me the reason of your call, I would like to speak to your supervisor". He placed me on hold and after a while someone picked up the call and said Hi and hang up. I called Bank of America myself and the costumer service told me "we don't just give a call and not tell you the reason of the call and we don't ask your info because we already have it in file.
