They call andwhen I pick-up they hang-up the phone
I get 1-3 calls daily from this number. It comes through caller ID as "Toll Call". I don't answer unidentified calls, usually, but I had a visitor who picked up the phone, They said it was bank of america regarding my property at my address. I asked them what it was regarding, and they said they will not give that information, unless I provided certain information. I told them no, unless they told me what the call was about. They gave me a number to call to verify validity...1-800-669-0102...LOL. What a bunch of maroons. I think this is a scam attempt
We have been receiving numerous calls every day for almost two weeks. The caller identifies themselves as being from BofA, and asks for my complete home address. I refuse to give it to them unless they can tell me what the call is regarding, and prove to me that they are actually with BofA. Every time, they refuse to do either one (other than a few times saying "It concerns your home loan with Bank of America") and offer to give me a number I can call, 1-800-669-0102. After the fifth call, I filed a complaint with the FTC, and am now telling them that I have filed a complaint and am logging their calls, each of which could result in a fine of $11,000. I tell them I am not interested in whatever they are selling and that I do not want to be called again. They have no started calling my wife at her place of business.
I work at a car dealership and constantly receive calls from 800 669 0102. When I answer, I'll go through the script that my company has provided me, but there is never anyone on the line. Sometimes I'll wait on the line for a few seconds to see if I hear anything, but for the most part whoever it is immediately hangs up. Ive never had any words with whoever it is that keeps calling, but considering that I get at least 10 calls a day from them, you'd figure that they'd grasp the fact that they're calling a general car dealership number. FRIGGIN ANNOYING!!
This number calls every day and even called my work number today! Asked me to verify my social security number, which I, of course, did not do. My caller ID reads LOAN COUNSELING. We recently refinanced our mortgage and went from Chase (which was so horrible as a mortgage company that my login included the phrase iloathechase--because ihatechase and idespisechase were already taken by other happy customers) to Bank of America. Looks like I traded one problem for another. If only I could have chosen our hometown bank--Key. Have never had a problem with KeyBank.
