Constant Robo call from Wells Fargo if you are any late on your payment. Super annoying. They call 2-3 times a day, and late at night.

Attempts to collect money, but red flag is that I have never had a mortgage account with Wells Fargo at all.

I've been getting repeated robocalls from this number. Since I had a Wells Fargo mortgage, it showed up on my phone as "Wells Fargo". It is NOT Wells Fargo. I called my mortgage broker and he said there is NO WAY Wells Fargo would be doing this. They are phishing for passwords and account numbers. Block this number immediately.

They have a fake website up that looks like Wells Fargo, in the event you look up "Norma" from "California".

Said they were Wells Fargo "trying to collect a debt" we have no past due accounts with them, sounds like a scam to get your info.

Calls but never leaves a message and if I answer they hang up without saying anything. Someone's calls 5-6 times a day. I don't understand why the FTC allows this to go on. At least I have Call Control...

Get this, they left a confidential envelope on my door with a card inside saying Please Call 1-800-678-7986 and the date. Now who is going to call a number left on an index card that doesn't put their business on it?

Best to Block # if you can.
Received a call from this number (1-800-678-2986) stating "This is Sarah, I am calling about your mortgage with Wells Fargo".... provided long detailed info about business hours and then stated this is an attempt to collect a debt. Foolishly I called the number and got something about "just because I called... I have won a vacation... I listened a bit and then realized it is clearly a scam and probably trying to charge my phone service number for the call or??? I am placing the number on call block. done.

I got caught because I had just been to the bank and their systems are all down due to power outage last night. Worrisome how weak the system might be ... other businesses, including the bank next door, were up and running but Wells Fargo is closed.

This same scammer has called for the fourth workday in a row. I have filed additional complaints with the appropriate federal and state regulators.

The same scammer has now called twice using the same apparently faked caller ID information claiming to be Wells Fargo Home Mortgage trying to collect a debt. (I have no business relationship with Wells Fargo and no debts.) I have file complaints with the FTC's DoNotCall list (which is totally useless) and with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (probably useless) and with the Maryland Attorney General's office (hopefully not useless). If this is not some kind of an illegal scam, and really is Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, then they are violating numerous federal and state laws by repeatedly calling someone on the DoNotCall list who has no debts.

A female caller identified herself as "Tiffany" and claimed to be from "Wells Fargo Home Mortgage". She refused to give any other information. She refused to give her company address. She refused to give her company phone number. She refused to give her last name. She refused to say why she was calling. She said that my number was "on an account" and that she was "using an autodialer". She refused to say why my phone number would be "on an account" and she refused to say anything about the "account". This appears to be a typical debt-collection scam; they have called my number about 500 times using various names including "IC SYSTEM", "BCR", "HSBC", "Washington Mutual", "ACR", "Bureau of Collection Recovery", "Allied Interstate", "NCC Business Services", "NCO Financial Systems", "ARM", "Accounts Receiveable Management", "Enhanced Recovery Corporation", "Chrysler Financial", "Marc Research", "MCM, Inc.", "Account Services", "Portfolio Recovery Associates", "Regional Adjustment Bureau", "GMC", "AR Management", "Capital Management Services", "Valentine & Kerbartis", "Juniper Bank", "Apple Credit", "Nelson, Watson, & Associates", "Malcolm S. Gerald", "American Dreamcard", "FMA Alliance", "GC Services Limited Partnership", "Midland Credit Management", "United Collection Bureau, Inc.", and "Chase Student Loans". I do not have any debts and have never had any bad debt. This is just a scam like the other hundreds of calls. I reported them to the Maryland Attorney General's office, the FTC, and will report them to Maryland Commissioner of Financial Regulation.

This is the Number for Wells Fargo. You're receiving these notices on your door every month due to a Loan Modification or you're late on your Mortgage! You should know its not a scam because your Mortgage company charges you $50+ for someone to drop of the "Confidential" notice at your property every month. Keep thinking its a scam!

It is Wells Fargo. They called me repeatedly asking for my ex-wife. She and I were divorced 6/7/2002. I told them that and was told they would stop calling. Boy.. THAT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL. They have now (as of 6/19/2013) called me 5 times, and I don't see it stopping any time soon. I dug and dug and dug, and found this form on their web site: https://www.wellsfargo.com/contactus. To all the poor schmucks that can't get them to STOP - let's all FLOOD them using this form!

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage collections has been calling me for months on someone elses bill. I owe wells fargo nothing. I have asked and asked for them to stop calling me on my pay as you go cell phone and explained to them I was not the person they were looking for. When that didn't work, I wrote an email to headquarters and got a call back from a woman who wanted personal information and to interview me by phone. I told her my name and my service provider, my address and where I was at the moment. I explained to her that II work graveyard and she was waking me up and I was not willing to sit on the phone and spend more of y money talking to her about who I am...which is none of her business.. so she threatend that she wouldn't stop the calls... so they call me 4 or 5 times a day..even on sunday and fill my voicemail box just because I pissed her off. As I said... I don't have a wells fargo mortgage... or any mortgage!
