Bob, in order for me to get into this sight I put this number in (800) 456-7890, so I assume this is the number that you are talking about because I did not see a number on your comment sheet. These people are HORRIBLE scam artists!! they can make you believe that you FORGOT to pay a debt, or that you NOW owe a debt that you DON'T. These people actually called me and told me that there is a warrant out for my husband and myself and they will be here in 2 days to arrest us and handcuff us then take us away to prison. The mans name was Michael McCloud, these people go by different names, different phone#'s etc. If you type in Michael McCloud Investegator, then click on the # (770)783-1843, you will read what these people have done to us. I was sooooo upset because I was home alone with my youngest daughter, and didn't want her to hear the conversation, so I locked myself in the upstairs bathroom and called my 2 sisters to ask them to take my kids for a few days because I didn't want them to witness this taking place. I consider myself a resonalbly intelligent person, but these people sound so for real. They tell you to go to the nearest Western Union to fill out a green form called Money in Minutes and he gives you the attorneys name (Allan Smith Cheektowaga NY 14225) but not the rest of the address to verify it or the phone# because Mr. McCloud said (get this) the attorney likes to pick up the money at the Western Union himself because he likes to deal with it "HANDS ON PERSONALLY' and the only way I can get the attorneys address and phone# is if I do not pay the debt that I owe, then when I see the attorney in court, that is when I can have his address and phone#. Sounds pretty shaddy to me. I also called Mr.McCloud 2 days later after talking to him, and the mesage said " NOT IN SERVICE l100." my husband and I also called the place where this gentleman said he was staying ( in Las Vegas NV in suite 800) when we called there 2 DUI attorneys were staying there under the names of Shouse & Donahue the entire time. So I say Bob, be carefull, when you said you don't want to spend hard earned money on them, don't give them anything, and think of the poor Senior Citizens that are probably having heart attacks over these people or sending money that they don't owe? the ONLY money that they're getting from me, is the TAX money that I pay to put their A**es away in jail and keep them there. LOL well take care bob happy new year Paula paulaseb@live.com
Got 10 calls from this number yesterday, and never once was there a human at the other end. So far today, got another 5 calls.
Finally, I called them back, and just got a recording, asking me (only) to "Enter your account number." It never told me for what... Credit card? Which one? Debit card? Which one?
On my own, I had to research that this was HSBC, so I tried again, and only got a message that their "office is closed," yet the (automated) "dialing for dollars" continued.
I finally called the customer service number on the back of my card, the guy there acknowledged my account was current, and that they were having a "glitch" with the "dialing for dollars" system, and that they're getting "quite a few calls."
I suggested they simply "Unplug the f&*#ing thing" until someone can get it fixed, and that I was going to report them if I get one more harassing call.
The guy I spoke with ("John" Yeah, right) said he was putting in an emergency order to have "it" stop calling me immediately.
