I received so many calls from these morons that they actually ran my minutes out of my cell phone. They were actually calling about a debt of my father's who is now in a nursing home on Medicaid with progressive dementia. Once you go on Medicaid, the disadvantage is that they take everything (and I mean almost everything) and only give you $44 per month, but the advantage is that they care of you for life. I tried to tell these callers that they CANNOT collect a dime of my father's debt, especially not from me, but they called anyway. I finally called Lemberg and Associates, sued these stupid f*ckers, and won! I am $750 richer and they finally have stopped calling! Now they are calling my sister and I put her in touch with Lemberg. I'm telling you people that you do not have to put up with this. The best two things I ever did was to sign up for EveryCall to research the numbers and then turn it all over to Lemberg and Associates! If enough people sue these gestapo jerks, we can put them out of business or at least get them to discontinue their strong-arm tactics.
harrasing call
they are calling several times every day
It is probably part of the gangstalking that is going on, a type of organized bullying, They harass people and bully them.

Don't let them bully you! Fight back! Sue them! I did and I won $750 and they've stopped calling!
Sent a letter for them not to call me

They won't listen to a letter! I begged them to stop, I screamed, I tried to ignore their calls...they don't care! They think they can harass you into paying a bill that is not yours or is not due. They don't care. Do what I did...SUE THEM! I did and I won and I got them to stop calling. Now they are harassing my sister and, guess what, she is suing! If enough people sue them,, we can put an end to this BS!
Got 10 calls from this number yesterday, and never once was there a human at the other end. So far today, got another 5 calls.
Finally, I called them back, and just got a recording, asking me (only) to "Enter your account number." It never told me for what... Credit card? Which one? Debit card? Which one?
On my own, I had to research that this was HSBC, so I tried again, and only got a message that their "office is closed," yet the (automated) "dialing for dollars" continued.
I finally called the customer service number on the back of my card, the guy there acknowledged my account was current, and that they were having a "glitch" with the "dialing for dollars" system, and that they're getting "quite a few calls."
I suggested they simply "Unplug the f&*#ing thing" until someone can get it fixed, and that I was going to report them if I get one more harassing call.
The guy I spoke with ("John" Yeah, right) said he was putting in an emergency order to have "it" stop calling me immediately.
