I just got this number from someone at Con Ed to schedule installation of a smart meter. It’s a real number, not a scam.

Received a phone call saying that they wanted to make an appointment for the upgrade of my electric meter. The issue is that Con Edison does not make appointments by phone for that purpose and not bu phone anyway. It is a scam, pure and simple. I hanged up telling them that they shold mail to me if they want to communicate with me.
