I receive several letters (to pay for 2017 tax) from Franchise Tax Board. I mailed out a copy of the canceled check to provide proof that I’ve paid for 2017 taxes. They sent me another letter wanting me to call this phone number 1 800-689-4776. Are you sure this phone # is a legitimate phone #.

We just filed a threating report at local police office, the threating address is FRANCHISE TA BOARD! P o box 942867, Sacramento Ca 94267-0011, they make up the people and send threating letter to our house, made a tons of harassing call on our house, every time the phone no. Is different from morning to midnight, we called IRS and ask what,s this account no for? They Don,t have the threating account no. On IRS system. So it,s a fake letter.

I received a letter accused my son owe $1000.00 payable to : Franchise tax aboard , guess it,s a fake letter, cause my son never lives in California, how can be received this fake Debt letters, contact no. 800-689-4776, next time send the correct accused letter, make sure the person live in California before.
