Got totally scammed! They call you with a Apple recording and make it seem very legitimate and tell you not to make any financial transactions because your Apple account has been compromised. Then they tell you to download a link so that they can troubleshoot and go into your laptop which they did for me and asked me for my name and phone number and email address and I feel so silly for doing it but when you are so scared you’re just doing what you’re told until you realize you’re being scammed. I think I was able to get it in time so that they didn’t access any information but I’m having the laptop completely scrubbed and cleaned because who knows what type of virus they could’ve put on. Although I don’t think that’s what they were going for I think they are going for a credit card and debit card information. Really terrible that people do this. Please be vigilant don’t answer calls from anyone you don’t know and question everything! Never give out any information over the phone if you can avoid it unless you are the one calling directly to a financial institution.

Just spoke to a guy with a heavy accent from the Middle East. Asking about my apple devices and my accounts email. He put me on hold then hung up on me since I refused to give him any information and kept taking in circles. BLOCKED

Didn't answer 800 692 7753 Searched number and Apple ICloud scam came up. I don't have Apple anything. (except actual fruit) It only rang once...there is a one ring scam going on also so..
