Scam called my wife today with “suspicious activity” on her Apple account. They asked her what her Apple account email was. She gave them her personal email and they asked if that was her Apple account. Since she uses my account, she didn’t know the email so gave me the phone. She thought it sounded legit. I immediately googled the phone number that showed up on the caller ID can found this thread. I told the guy that I googled the number and it showed up as a scam. He said there were many scams out there and you don’t know who to trust, so he understood not wanting to give him my username. I told him that HE was the scam number, then asked him what number we call to get Apple support. He said he was Apple support. I said what number do I dial to get YOU, the APPLE SUPPORT GUY? He didn’t know the number and told me to hold on and he would get someone who knows the Apple Support phone number. I said Bye Bye Scammer and hung up.

Don’t be fooled. My wife thought it sounded legit. No foreign accent. There was even an automated message with a menu and when you call them back, they answer Apple support. Be careful people.

They call my home phone multiple times today

Claimed to be Apple and that they had detected suspicious activity on my account. Since I had received no notification either over my phone using Apple's message, a text or and email it was obviously fake. It was a recorded message and I cut off the call immediately. I had already enabled 2 form authentication but it had been a few months since I last changed my password so using my computer I logged into my apple account and update the 14 character password

Notified Apple was notified. Apple took number & thought was Phishing. Claimed my Apple iCloud was compromised.

Reported my Apple iCloud was compromised. Instructed not to use. I notified Apple. They too info & stated call not from them.

Caller from Apple said I had an I Cloud breach...…. 2X today. I do not have
an account like this.

Said my cloud account was hacked and to call the 800 number for Apple Support. Scammer!!!

They say they are from Apple Technical support and that there are issues with my ICloud account, must be, don't have one! They keep calling, it is getting very irritating!
