Apple support scam
Yes Apple 'support' called. They hung up maybe because I keep them on the line? if i have time, and they think they are going to access my account. But low and behold when they ask what do i see on my screen? Oh my they don't like what i say!
they are scammers who wanted me to buy a $500 gift card so that they could fix my computer externally. had me fooled = stayed on phone for 1.5 hours and got into my computer. not sure what damage has been done yet.

Install Malware... but don't believe me check it out first. Apple does recommend this and it's free, once installed run a scan looking for viruses!

I think Hatem meant "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware," when he said "install Malware." You have my sympathies, regarding your experience. That said, you should probably check your phone bill. That "press 1 to connect" trick used to be frequently used to con people into accepting charges for long-distance, international, and/or "collect" calls.
Regarding your computer, you might find it beneficial to run the following scans:
1. Antivirus
2. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
3. Spybot Search & Destroy
I hope this helps. Take care.
This is a legitimate Apple Technical Support phone call but it is being flagged as SPAM

It's a spoofed number. It's not apple. Apple does not call people.
called and said they were Apple Support with the message don't use your apple devices without contacting Apple Support!
