Got this same call. Hung up and googled Apple Support phone numbers which did not match. Out of curiosity, I dialed the number and it answered “Thank you for calling Apple support. You can speak in complete sentences and tell me why you are calling.”. Hung up

The 800-myapple or 800-692-7753 is a legit and if you got that message, that was apple support. the problem is, these pieces of scum spoof the number so when you look it up you think oh it is apple

but for the record, they will not call you unless you scheduled a callback at the apple store, through the website or previously spoke with an adviser and requested them to call you back or they told you they would call back to check in

This is a scam ,THEY WILL CALL YOU AND SAY YOUR ACCOUNT HAD BEEN USED IN TWO LOCATION ,and start to read your info . ,and when you face them that this is a scam they will use foul language my Caller was Indian.

Didn't answer. Apple never calls customers unless you are in a chat and you give them your phone number so they can call you to help you solve a specific problem.
