This is a phishing scam. I was getting calls from this number 3-5 times per day, and I was suspicious because I have not used my Care Credit card in over three years and have no balance on it, so I called the number on the back of my Care Credit card and told the agent about the calls I was getting. After I gave them this number and they confirmed it is a known scam that is using stolen information and calling people to verify that the accounts are active by having you verify your last transaction. DO NOT give them any information or call this number back. If you have any questions, call the number on your card or on your statement to talk to them.
This is an automated service to verify a recent Care Credit purchase. You don't have to speak with anyone and it takes about 20 seconds to complete the whole thing. Harmless & worth calling back even if only so they'll stop calling you.
I know care credit well, I just don't know why they would need to verify one purchase SO many times
This number is for Care credit, it is a credit card for medical expenses. The phone call with this number is from an automated service to confirm recent activity on the card. This is to help protect the account of the person who has the card.

If the're going to call - then they should at least leave a voice mail message if you don't answer the phone. THAT would be more about CUSTOMER SERVICe and protecting the accounts of the people with the card.
Got call from 800-707-1214 as unavailable so did not answer call. When answering machine came on, no message left. Evidently 800-707-1214 is a scam call as no message was not left. I am on do not call list and I do not appreciate these unavailable or out of area phone calls.

It is Care Credit trying to verify a recent purchase on a GE Money account. From all accounts I've heard and from calling back myself, seems legit like they're just trying to make sure it was the cardholder who made the purchase.
