Phishing by mail. Alleged number to call to activate Chase credit card that's on the paper accompanying counterfeit cards received in the mail via UPS (after real cards mailed via USPS disappeared weeks beforehand). Also gives fake address of Chase branch in Westerville, OH that does not exist.
This IS the Chase new card validity phone number. BUT somehow, on the first call, I got some special offer, I think from Chase (supposedly) for a medical pendant device. I don't think I dialed the wrong number. On the second call to this number, I got my Chase card validated.
Cyber-voice recording claimed that a charge was made for an Amazon purchase- bogus!
Call is actually from out of this country.
It is NOT Chase new card validity phone no. Call Chase immediately to block your Chase card.
