Received increasing number of calls per day, over last four days, from incrementing numbers in the range, 800-747-7744 to 800-747-7773 - No repeat calls from any one number. Same garbled message about SSN being suspended. Surely, a scam.

Caller: Purporting to be SSN official.

Same thing. Several calls from similar numbers as well. Youmail app says its a spcial security scam.

Apparently my social security card is going to be suspended FOREVER if I dont connect to their concerned social security expert. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I answered because I got three calls from the number and it was a recording about my SSN being suspended.. blah blah blah. I hung up.

SCAM about Social Security! They say your social security number is involved in suspicious activity, and has been put on hold. Then they ask you if want to speak to a rep, then they hang up on you. WEIRD!

The same thing just happened to me twice from this same number a few minutes ago. I blocked the number from calling my iPhone.
