Very aggressive man left voicemail saying this was a very serious matter regarding my social security. I knew instantly it was fraud because of his tone and demeanor.
Caller: Fake Social Security
They called me stating that serious allegations with my social security number with the drug enforcement agency. I needed to contact them right immediately and to not disregard the call and the call back number was 315-557-0344. I know it was a scam because the police would have to me and took me in for questioning by now. They never stated what police station nor did they say my name. Most major places have a 1-800 or 1-888 number call back number.
I answered the call. Idiot on the phone couldn't pronounce my name right. Then when I asked him to give me my social security number he said okay, then hung up. I called back and it was a medical alert #. Called again and it was a cash rewards program of sorts. Called again and it said I dialed a number not available from my calling area. LOL
