I received a call from the same firm on 4/30/2015 alleging that I owe money and that they would reduce the amount to $250 if I would pay today by 3pm. I requested verification, account number, dollar amount, who they were, etc. and if it was due to fraud, I would not pay it, and that is why I am requesting verification. After they did not send me anything, I called back and got into an argument with someone saying he was Phillip, the owner of the law firm located in NY. He said that he would no longer send me the VOD because I kept talking over him. After contacting Wachovia, I found that I did owe $60.20 from an account that I closed in 2009, and I paid that debt with them over the phone. I called back to this scam artist and he refused to listen and said that I would receive his letter to appear in court. Good luck! The address they have for me is over 20 years old. They have failed to prove there was a debt, the amount that was owed, who they are, etc.

This number call me on behalf of Wachovia Bank, that was recently bought out by Wells Fargo. Yet, they would not give me a company name nor the department they were attached to in Wells Fargo. They are not on my credit report as a debt, yet they said that they were. They threatened to send get a judgement against me for the full amount. Yet, they couldn't give me ANY information confirming that they were a legit company.
