Scam - Receive calls but no one responds when you answer.
BLOCKED!
They and some others like this keep calling me even though I cleared the balance early this year. They want proof, and the proof they want is for me to send my physical bank statements to them.
Caller: ‘Debt Collector’
Left a message “Medicredit” says they’re collecting for Overland Park Regional, a hospital I have never visited nor do I have any outstanding bills with my 813 credit score. Blocked as usual.

Tried to get my name - keep asking to talk to me - I wouldn't say who I was - caller said they would call back. Did not sound like a professional on phone and had a raspy voice. I was immediately suspicious. The caller is now blocked

Yes, they did - this is the 3rd time; refused to talk to me as POA. That was the first red flag; 2nd red flag was when I told them that IF this call were legitimate, they had my address and could mail information - the reply: we need you to verify your address. My reply: nope, that's your problem - and I hung up. this is clearly a scam.
