Scammers. Told me my computer has a virus...

I have been getting calls every day from 'Geek Support' about my computer. It is always a heavy foreign accent, usually Indian, and I tell them to stop calling my number that I know it is a SCAM. They keep calling anyway. By the way, this is not the only number they use, so if you block this one, they'll just use another number.

Global Info Tech is the company they said they represented which they also said they represent Microsoft company. They were able to get my computer id system ID and the registry id. John employee number 50622915. Peters employee number 51895914. Associated phone numbers (800)845-6565, (239)300-6975, (209)201-0083. This is what transpired. John contacted me to inform me that I was not getting Windows Update. He also gave me my system ID number which was quite long and also gave me my registry ID number which is also long so I took for granted he represented the Microsoft company. I gave him use the computer to correct the problem but instead he messed up my system causing my video $300 video card and sound card to burn up because I could hear the card whining out. It cost me $280 to have my system clean and reinstall windows 10 and it cost me 300 dollars andas some change for a new vidio card. They never contacted me back like they said they would and something else is they tried to sell me a program with AVG complete and I figured by them trying to sell products they would get the credit card number and I refuse to give them my credit card. I kept this India accent dude on phone for about 5 minutes. I told him I had Linus computer and asked for assistance with it with my India accent. Asked him what flavor Slurpee I could get with his Linus service, he still didn't get it......... his name was Dave, couldn't get his given Indian name. told me he would call once a week to check on my Linus computer status. gave me a call back number of 855-481-229x, short one digit, bummer.

Thick accent. They wanted me to run dubious commands on my computer. No way. They claimed that they were from the "Geek Squad".

I've been getting a bunch of scam calls. This number called me today. "Toll Free" appeared on Caller ID. I hit the red and green buttons on my phone simultaneously.

I suspected a bogus call. Coming here confirmed my suspicions.

Couldn't understand the first person on the phone, so she got her supervisor. He had an English accent. He kept telling me they are "Geek Support" and my PC is having trouble. Said they work with were we bought our PC. Told him to hang on and I'll call where I bought the PC. As soon as I said that he told me to have a good day and immediately hung up.

How do I make them quit calling? They just continue calling and calling on my cell phone. This is from GEEKS...it is identified as a SCAM caller.
