Vincent states that he received a call that was possibly a scam/fraud. The caller was calling from OS systems and that they had made prior attempts to reach him. The calls usually come up as “Unavailable”, but they did provide him with an 800 number to reach him. They were contacting him about a virus that was contracted on his computer. He performed several checks with his virus software and found nothing. His brother recently was a victim of this scam and it took them about a day or so to reverse this. After they performed certain steps on the computer, they offered a repair/protection service for the computer software. CTR344
