I received a call from this number but I was on the phone with a friend at the time, so I missed the call. I looked at the display on my phone and it indicated that this number was U.S. Bank.
I called back and heard an automated voice answering, so I hung up.

"Hi this message is for ****** or ******. This is US Bank. Please return our call at 1-800-872-2625. We will be in the office today until 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time."
In the office on a Saturday? NOPE!
Real US Bank customer service confirmed that this number is fake.

No self identifying of business or persons name, we have ONE account with US Bank with no negative actions; if US Bank will not address this fraud issue, I will close the account and then when they call again, I can tell them to f##k off.

Caller ID said US Bank 800-872-2625. Recorded message said it was US Bank with important message about my account. Press 1 if I am said person.... then to verify my identity wanted last 4 digits of my social which I didn't provide and the call ended abruptly.

The call was robo call. It said this us bank. If this (my name) press 1. If its the wrong #,
Press 2. I pressed #1. Then the robo call asked for last 4 digits of ssn. I hung up. I called US Bank
and talked 2 a representative that told me US Bank doesn't use robo calling to contact customers. So this is a scam.

It’s a collection agency. THEY ARE NOT US Bank, they bought all the unpaid customer debt from US bank for a price then they will chase you. Find their address, then write a letter of CEASE AND DESIST, FAX to them so you have a record of your request to stop harassing you, ask them to itemize your unpaid debts then mail it to you.

I just got a new car loan. I did not get the statement and missed my first payment. I therefore called the other number for US Bank on my credit card statements. They transferred me and confirmed that this number IS in fact US BANK.

Well Mr US Bank, Your full of S**T. The two numbers used are 800-872-2657 and 2625. They both ask for personal info before they will state the reason for the call. No bank will do that, MORON! I blocked both numbers and they are now calling my wife because our numbers are linked. It looks like a cell # from Kansas. When I told them I would not be providing any info, they stated that they will continue to call. Good Luck!

First of all, comes from a toll free number which I hate to start with. Then, wanted the last 4 digits of my SS# and my birthdate! NOT!

I saw on my caller ID they had called several times and left no message. On Sat I answered the call and he wanted my SS#, I asked why I would give that to him. He told me he had bank business to discuss with me and could not do that until I gave him the security info he was asking for. He gave me the same 800-872-2625 to call him back. I declined and told him I would stop at the bank today, which I did. They went thru everything I have with them and there were no problem with any of it. Now this afternoon they have called me at my work. They wanted the same info as before. I told the lady they were a scam and I would be reporting it. She assured me they were not, that they really needed to speak with me. She basically said the people at the bank did not know what they were doing if they didn't find a problem. I will be blocking this number if they continue to call.

This is definitely a scam number. I called US Bank and they said they would not call a customer, I would have been contacted by email if US Bank really wanted to contact me.

I will add to my previous comment: I answer the phone, they hang up. If they wanted money from me, they wouldn't just hang up the phone. It's getting ridiculous.

In response to those calling this a collections call, we just got this phone number two months ago. It is not listed on any web site or business card. It's on no FB pages. And apparently a collections department with a bank we do not do business with is sending us collection calls? I'm going with this being a scam.

I work here, this is the US Bank collections call center number. Your long "fraud center" call is just plain wrong. Sorry.
