In addition to calling and asking for random people, they also have recently started to send Kay Jewelers credit account bills showing balance to pay and asking to call this number for assistance in payment. I've never bought a thing from Kay Jewelers. Definitely scammers. Don't call back or write to the address provided. Tell your friends to be beware of it as well.
I get a call every day from various different numbers, looking for a Scanton Belchird -at least that is what it sounds like. I picked up once the other day and told them it is the wrong number and they will not stop calling me!
My elderly mother got a call today from Ed Montgomery representing Kay Jewelers. He said he need to get in touch with me and to give me this message. Call Ed Montgomery at KAY Jewelers 1-800-877-7350 ext 1754
Caller looking for a Michelle -- saying she had business with their (Kay Jewelers) company. His name was Matt Stevens and his call back number was 1-800-877-7350 - ext. 1642 -- although the call came in as 1785-232-1712
We got one today for the first time, so I immediately googled it. Said they were 'robin' (a man) from Kay Jewelers looking for a john amos, and to call them back at 800-877-7350 ext. 27. Except that we've never heard of a john amos!! Sounds like a scam, maybe a 'phishing' scam, where they are 'fishing' for information to scam your identity.
I read other comments by people that said they are a collections agency for sterling or kay jewelers, but it sounds like a scam.

no scam i mean if people old you money wouldnt you call any possible number that you may think will find your customer?? come one its not rocket science here
