The caller stated that they knew computer viruses had been downloaded to my computer.

I asked if this was a solicitation call and the person stated that it was an awareness call regarding potential malware installed on my computer. He said that he knew what was on my computer since I had a Microsoft Operating System. Tried to have me go on my computer so he could show me what is on it. Not sure if this is a scam or legitimate business selling computer security information. I asked him for his name and number - he told me his name was Greg Newman and the number is 800-878-2302. I did not supply this person with any information. Either this is an unwanted solicitation call or a scam.
