Hello everyone

I have just received a fraudulent call from this number and the guy on the other end was very rude and short posing as BC Hydro though the call display just showed up as Hydro.

He called and immediately asked for the manager or owner and that a rep would be on their way to shut down power within 30 minutes. Though upon looking up scams using this number in our area we have discovered that this number was completely fraudulent, we never got a total owed or anything of the sort.

A fraud by imposing as Toronto Hydro and claiming that the business has an outstanding balance of over $2000 and needs to get the owner to pay it off immediately or else they will stop your hydro right away. Toronto Hydro is aware of this fraud, however, we have received this fraud more than twice.
