I get call for collection debt of PA. I tried to talk to an agent but was not connected. It is scam.

It's a collection agency. In my case, they were trying to collect on back income taxes for South Carolina. I think states use them to harass you into making a commitment to a payment plan. Better to talk to a tax agent directly or get a tax lawyer.

Received a call on my cell at 10:07 am. Did not answer. No voice message. I called back on a land line and a person answered and I was told the call may be recorded. They wanted my phone number in order to help me. When I asked what type of company, I was told "you have to give the phone (my cell) number in order for them to help me, or have a nice day." When I asked why they need my number, he said that I did not have to get an attitude. JUST BECAUSE I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF COMPANY WAS CALL ME, I had an attitude.
