Didn't answer - not in my directory, but apparently a scammer/spammer...
Received false monthly cc statement in my name to my home address via snail mail. Assuming someone had opened an account in my name but that the statement was authentic I called the 800 number provided on the paper statement with payment due. 800-903-3637. I became suspicious after answering some questions to confirm my identity, my date of birth the only vital piece of info but I am used to answering that question. Anyway these criminals are aggressive and need to be stopped. Report to Capital One and your financial institutions to protect yourself.

Professed 1 to wait for "First available agent" As soon as they answered, I started to tell them to start harassing me and they just hung up. Telemarketing scam artists!
