Pretended I was listed as a reference for someone and that the number she was given on their application was not working so she couldn't leave them a message. Asked if I knew them and wanted me to give her contact information and told her no. Person was actually spouse but she didn't ask if they lived here or not so I didn't offer. Told her I would get them message. Found out it was Regional Adjustment Bureau Incorporated and they are a shady collection firm with a most recent fine by the State of Tennessee for unauthorized third party contact in March 2010. We have never received anything in writing from them and I think it is a scam b/c other postings about how they try to collect on invalid debt.
