Claiming to be Microsoft Support. Needs to be shut down.
I just called these scam artists @ they are good. I had a problem with my yahoo account @ talked to a woman named Marry, she looked into it @ told me that i had been hacked into. Marry told she would fix the problem at no expense @ at the end told me i had the option for a 1 or 2 year protection plan . The 1 year was $299.99 @ the 3 year plan was $ 399.99 (WOW WHAT A BARGAIN!!) I told Marry she was a fraud @ hung up on her. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THESE CONS !!!!, they are good @ watching them on your screen work while diagnosing your computer is pretty convincing. (THEY ARE SCAMMERS @ ought to be locked up)
I received an email from Yahoo support (as they "claim" to be one) saying that my email storage is getting full and soon I will not get any emails or send any emails. Honestly, that startled me a bit, I cannot afford such thing as being unable to receive email (I get important emails everyday). I called this number as provided. Immediately there was a guy with STRONG Middle East accent. Trying to get me to buy bigger storage space. My gut feeling was screaming out NO NO! So I checked this site and found out the actual truth - THEY ARE the SCAMMERS! They stole $69,000 from a Deaf couple (their retirement money is nearly gone because of their lies). SICKENS me! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS NUMBER!
hackers and scam artists preying on the weak
I am currently on a call with one of these fools. They are hackers themselves and this guy is telling me to pay $499.00 to resume my account. But that's not the issue here. I don't get a error that I've used an incorrect ID or password. It's some error code. I can guarantee this isn't YAHOO CUSTOMER SUPPORT number.
