Got a call claiming my g-mail was sending spam. I said, I would check google myself. he then insisted I check his credentials and gave me a 800-935-0817 number call back .. He said now make sure you have a computer by you to log into when you call back . He was going by Philip and spoke with broken English. Indian accent I belive .. I looked it up to see who the number belonged to and found this site. Thank you all for posting so it was easy to verify this scam ..
Same here, some guy called Phillip with some foreign accent, called restricted and told me that someone hacked my yahoo account and was sending some spam to people and that raised a security concern with Yahoo. I said I will contact yahoo to verify this since I did not trust him and he gave me this number to call 800-935-0817 Ext 111

called and said was from yahoo and some one was putting porn on my computer wanted me to go turn it on and do this and that dont do it thay just want to take over your shit so thay can get your credit card and bank account info
Said I was sending out Spam from my gmail account. His name was Mark Smith, how original and asked for his supervisor's name which was Frank Calmine and again how original. When asked for a number he gave me 1-800-935-0817 extension 113.

Similar experience, they said they were with Yahoo. The number was blocked but he gave me this number as a call back number. Didn't seem right, so luckily I didn't give him any information. Sure is persistent though, has called back three times.
