I got a call .They told me to browse google irs new number and then open the first link. Then they said to check the number to confirm that its IRS. They said tax has not filled and they will arrest me..like that..i did some research and found it as scam. Thanks for this site.

Someone called from 911 claiming as cop and asked me to verify first entry date to US. I thought this might be someone from ICE so I told him the date. Then he went to say that IRS has issued an arrest warrant and asking me to stay where I'm. Then I asked why would they issue arrest warrant without sending formal notice. Since I didn't believe, he told he will loop in IRS so that they can confirm it is legitimate. I continued to talk to them to understand how these frauds happen. Its same routine story as everyone explained above.

Yes, it was too much nervous... I received but thanks GOD they called my office number and got a slight doubt, while they were in the call and search for this number and this page came up......... A BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL... Google and you saved me from a big scam today. Their accent is not Indian though. Hope I will not get the call back again. I tried to file a complaint with police but then later realized it is too much work for our BELOVED real POLICE department.

I Just received a call announcing that he is from 911. Since I know already this is Spam, I asked him if you are from 911 why are you hiding your caller identification (Unknown Caller). He said there is an arrest warrant against me and asked for the first entry in US. I said I came in 2015 (fake date.). He said yes, it is correct as per his records. When I asked him what was the warrant about, he replied that, there is a Tax fraud and he has faxed the details to IRS and I would get a call immediately. I got the second call from 800-945-8400 and my true caller reveled it as a spam caller, but I answered the call just to know what these frauds are blabbering. The second caller was telling me many sections and I did not pay the Federal Tax as required and so I have to pay immediately 2900$. if not I will be arrested and penalized up to 20,000$. And I should not discuss this with anyone. I told him I am not afraid since I am legal in US and filed the tax properly. I also asked him to proceed with his formalities and I am ready to face. Then he disconnected.

I too received a call from +8009458400 claiming to be IRS and told me i have an arrest warrant for tax fraud. I don't remember doing any illegal stuff in my whole life, so disconnected the number and blocked it. Also raised a complaint report with IRS and FTC.

Hope these scammer get caught at earliest and stop ruining people's life.

Same like above, +911 called and connected to +800 945 8400 and said they are going to arrest me if I don't pay $2900 immediately out of court settlement.

Today i got a call from KEVIN BROWN from 911. Person was talking in an accent not pure american Accent. Asked for my very first entry date to US and said there is an arrest warrant on my name for IRS Tax Fraud. Said he faxed to IRS and expected an instant call from IRS. Got a call from the number: (800) 945-8400. He asked me to take that call and i didn't take that call. Just googled it and I found this.

SCAM! "911" Called. Person was talking in an accent nearer to Indian Accent. Asked for my very first entry date to US and said there is an arrest warrant on my name for IRS Tax Fraud. Said he faxed to IRS and expected an instant call from IRS. Got a call from the number: (800) 945-8400 and they blabbered out certain sections and that I had created crime and asked me to pay federal tax in full or they will arrest me. They asked me to drive down to my nearest bank, get the money in cash and pay it to some IRS Office, fill up couple of forms and get the receipt and that they will be on the call with you while you do all that! SCAM! CON ARTISTS!

Had the same experience as above today. I stayed very calm and composed on the call and did not provide any information so they finally hung up and have never called back again.

Even I too received the call from this number and they said, there is some issue with my tax filing under section bla. bla.. for the financial year 2015 and it is an criminal offence. I was not able to recall what was that section. They providing me only two option, get arrested which may leave negative impact on my history which further leads to loose job, passport get block and not get any benefit from government felicities or pay the full fine amount of $2600 in full right at the moment. I got nervous and choose the 2nd option of paying the full amount. They asked me to drive to bank right away to withdraw the amount and they put on conditions of I should not discuss with anyone and should not go on mute. I tried to buy time to think whats going on but they was trying their best to avoid me to think/communicate with anyone. I felt something really going wrong and started cooking up the story that I forgot my debit card at home and need to go home to take my card. I put on my car in idling and started searching that number in internet. Finally I found it as fraud and just disconnected!
