Wanted to lower credit card rate, but I don't a card thru Citibank. Pressed 1 to see about talking to a human and got Haji and gave him a piece of my mind.

I missed the call, so I called them back./ They wanted my card number and ssn. I refused to give to them. Therefore, I was unable to find out why they called.

I received a telephone call and immediately register on donotcall.gov I asked the Fake representation to remove my telephone number from the database and don't ever call me again. Received an email from Citi Cards asking me to call this number because there was a problem with my account I just activated. I called that number, although, I was confused when they asked me if I had other creditors and for me to provide them with one of my major credit card account number to confirm my identity. I asked to speak with their supervisor, she came on the line and requested the same information. I refused and close the account.

ILLEGAL PRE-RECORDED MSG which does NOT identify themselves as any particular company. Like others, I believe this number is spoofed to make gullible ppl believe its the real deal. While the CC companies MAY be in on this as a side deal, they will never admit that unless savvy detectives can prove it; then we ALL have a Class Action Lawsuit on our hands.

Called but I did not answer- blocked the call

When you get any kind of unsolicited calls (robo generated or not) and you get a live person from the caller, when they greet you or ask you a question you just respond "What do you lying cork soakers want to scam me out of today?" If they respond or not just keep repeating your opening phrase over and over and over whatever they say or try to respond with. Do this until THEY hang up. If we all respond like this to all unsolicited and illegal calls they will soon get the message. I do this with all unsolicited illegal calls whether if is from Microsoft about computer errors, the IRS or someone wanting to sell back braces or "Rachel" from credit card services. I am on the DO NOT CALL list so that makes them fair game Try it!
