I got a letter from with the Chase Letterhead saying that they would not contact me anymore because I notified them that my attorney should be the contact person. I just opened my Amazon Chase Credit card so I thought this was extremely wierd. It is a good thing that I used the phone number on the credit card and not the one shown on the letter. The number on the letter showed 1-866-931-4347 which according to the internet is registered to National Debt Relief. I called Chase and they did not have anything pending on my card with any record of my request for attorney to be contacted. Apparently this is a ploy to get you to call this number.

Purportably from Chase to let me know another card opened on my account. But when called official Chase number they said not their number and probably a phishing call
