Coast Professional Inc 800-963-4714, Caller named Maria wanted to do an employee verification and get their social security number but didn't fully know the employees name when I asked. If they give you a reference number to call back 9/10 it's a spam.

I can't remember what she said her name was. She asked for me by name. I asked what is the purpose of this call. She said she needed the last four of my social security number or my date of birth. If I gave her one of those she would give me the other. I said no. I asked for the name of the company. She said Coast Professional Inc. I did a search for that name and that is a legitimate company that does collections for the IRS. However, the IRS web page says they will contact you at least twice before turning you over to collections. I have never received any notice from the IRS. Pretty sure it is a scam.

The guy over the phone asked for my last 4 digit of social... that already sounds suspicious... I refused and he said he would tell me the 4 digit of my social and I would have to provide my home address. I refused and he asked if my name was cythnia I was like no... he said he must had called the wrong number
